Model assumptions, limitations and references
A learning model, not field instructions
The control circuits use an ideal 125 V DC supply measured relative to DC return (0 V), ideal contacts, and a nominal 25-ohm coil. They do not model inductance, heating, arc interruption, battery impedance, dual-pole fusing, trip-circuit supervision or all vendor interlocks. The closing diagram is a functional series-permissive representation; it is not a terminal wiring drawing.
Breaker failure uses a two-source radial bus, one faulted feeder and one healthy load feeder, with no downstream generation. Fault contributions are fixed illustrative values. Only current-based supervision is modeled. Real schemes can use current, position or combined criteria and different trip matrices. Example operation, recharge and timer values are not equipment specifications.
